We appreciate all the flexibility and grace the Kayenna Community continues to give us as we work together to keep our clients and team members healthy.

What does this mean for the class(es) I'm already taking?

Classes in progress will simply be on hold until we are safely able to resume. Right now, we are aiming for an April 1st restart date, but, like everyone, we are taking it day by day and following government recommendations to help reduce the spread of illness.

I am scheduled to start a class before April 1st, what happens now?

The start of new classes will be delayed, and more information will be sent out as we know more. At this time, we want to reassure you that nothing on our schedule is cancelled; we expect to move all future classes to new start dates. We will continue to work diligently to keep our clients updated, as well as engaged with new content as we are able.

What should I do in the meantime?

We invite all currently registered clients to join our new Kayenna Student Community group on Facebook, where our trainers will answer questions, post content, and offer ideas for working your dog(s) while practicing social distancing. Just because we aren't in the same room together doesn't mean that learning must stop! Stay tuned for another special offer coming soon.

What about grooming?

At this time, Kayenna Spa remains open, however we have made modifications to our handling protocols to help protect our clients and ourselves.

We ask that owners remove any collars or leashes that you bring your pups in with and take them with you when you drop off your dog. We will provide a clean and sanitized slip lead to move your dog into the grooming area. Please bring your pet's collar and leash back with you when you pick up.

We usually allow owners to stay for the duration of the groom in the shop with their dogs on an as-requested basis. Starting immediately and continuing while we are on a heightened state of contagion awareness, we respectfully ask that you drop your pet off with your groomer in the lobby and come back for pick-up when specified to reduce the risk of person to person transmission.

Our disinfecting protocol remains heightened throughout the facility and we are doing everything we can to mitigate any risk to our groomers and clients.

Again, we thank the Kayenna Community for working with us during this challenging time. We are so grateful for your continued support as we find our way ahead together. We are embracing this challenge as an opportunity to find creative and accessible ways to help our clients continue to achieve success with your dogs, so please stay tuned for new and exciting things coming your way from Kayenna.

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
