Tracey Geddes has been competing in agility for over 20 years. Over the years she has taught and worked privately with clients building skills to improve the agility experience. She strives to help the dog and handler work together as they grow into a successful team, finding fun and positive ways to repair any issues that may appear. She has worked with a variety of breeds and temperaments, putting constant consideration into each dog’s individual needs.
Tracey is a multiple Regional winner and a National winner with many top placements over the years. She competes in AAC, CKC, UKI, and NADAC. Her passion is agility but she’s also ventured into other dog sports; Rally, Conformation, Dock Diving, and Herding. Her first agility dog was an Akita; Takara taught her a lot about how to motivate the most independent of breeds. Takara received her Agility Excellent in CKC as well as titles in AAC and NADAC. After falling in love with agility, Tracey also added multiple Papillons over the years who always placed with the top competitors. Tracey now competes in agility with her Papillon and Malinois, with another young Malinois in training.
Tracey continues to take agility seminars/workshops from world competitors to keep up with the ever-changing agility world. She’s currently studying dog behavior as well as mentoring with a dog behaviorist to add a more well-rounded approach to teaching agility; supporting the individual dog and handler’s needs, while helping build a connected relationship.
She has now become a Certified Trick Dog Instructor with Do More With Your Dog (CKC Transferable).
